A Still August Day

A sunprint  of plants collected in August, with the addition of lino butterflies.

Colour is really important to me, mixing and softening by overprinting many plates of a limited colour pallette.

Misty May Morning

A sunprint using plant material, building up delicious layers of soft colours, overprinting many times for a satisfying conclusion of rich colours.

Robin Nest

Similar approach to Blackbird Nest, eggs are lifesize and cut out of lino, I've created the nest out of plant material using sun plates. I'm enjoying the multi layering of subtle shapes and colours, building a delicious patina of textures.

Blackbirds Nest
A recent exploration into the complexities of nest building, I'm using life size eggs (lino) and plant material similar to those used by the birds.
